Watch our corporate video here.\nThe assignment\n As an Operations & Process Improvement Intern, you will become part of the Operations team and play an active role in one of our key digital transformation projects.\nOur operations department is currently implementing a new automated order entry process. Where orders are currently entered manually, we are working towards a future state in which automates large parts of the process. Your role will be to support and accelerate this transition.\nYou will act as the linking pin between the Operations team and our internal development team. You will work closely with planners, operational colleagues and developers to ensure the new process works effectively in practice.\nDuring your internship, your responsibilities will include:\nSupporting the Operations team in the current order entry process;\n\nTesting newly developed AI-driven order entry functionalities;\n\nIdentifying improvement opportunities and operational requirements;\n\nDocumenting findings and providing structured feedback to the development team;\n\nCoordinating user acceptance testing and validating outcomes;\n\nMonitoring process performance and data quality;\n\nHelping drive the transition from manual activities towards automation;\n\nActing as a bridge between business users and developers.\n\nThis internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Operations, process optimization, AI applications and change management within an international trading environment.\n\nWho are you?\n You are curious, analytical and excited about how new technologies can improve business processes. You enjoy working with people, taking ownership and translating operational needs into practical improvements. Ideally, you bring the following:\nYou are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business IT or a related field;\n\nYou have a strong affinity with digitalization, automation and AI;\n\nYou enjoy analyzing processes and identifying improvement opportunities;\n\nYou are comfortable working with data and digital tools;\n\nYou have strong communication skills and can easily interact with different stakeholders;\n\nYou are proactive, structured and able to work independently;\n\nYou have a good command of both Dutch and English.\n\nWhat we offer\n A unique opportunity to gain experience within a fast-growing international organization.
