This role demands strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and technical fluency to drive results in complex client environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in large-scale technology implementations, strong utilities domain knowledge, and proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams including Technical Project Managers, Business/Technical Analysts, and Solution Architects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDelivery & Program Management:\nOwn end-to-end delivery of the FSM platform implementation, ensuring alignment with client business objectives, scope, timeline, and budget.\nDevelop and maintain the overall program plan, including milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and critical path management.\nEstablish and govern delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) appropriate to project needs.\nProactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate appropriately with recommended resolutions.\nManage project financials including budget tracking, forecasting, and resource utilization.\nEnsure robust change management and governance processes are in place throughout the project lifecycle.\nStakeholder & Client Management:\nServe as the primary point of contact for the client on delivery matters, building trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders.\nFacilitate steering committee meetings, status reviews, and executive reporting.\nManage client expectations regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring transparency and proactive communication.\nDrive resolution of escalations and conflicts, balancing client satisfaction with commercial and delivery constraints.\nCross-Functional Team Leadership:\nPartner closely with the Technical Project Manager to align technical execution plans with overall program milestones.\nCollaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to ensure requirements are accurately captured, validated, and translated into deliverable outcomes.\nWork with the Solution Architect to ensure the technical solution design aligns with business requirements, scalability needs, and integration architecture.\nLead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional delivery teams (functional, technical, QA, change management, training).\nFoster a collaborative, high-performance team culture across onshore/offshore or hybrid delivery models.\nFSM Platform Implementation Oversight\nOversee configuration, customization, integration, testing, and deployment phases of the FSM platform (e.g., Salesforce Field Service, ServiceMax, IFS, Oracle Field Service, or similar).\nEnsure the solution addresses core utilities field operations use cases such as work order management, crew scheduling and dispatch, mobile workforce enablement, outage response, asset/inventory management, and regulatory compliance.\nCoordinate integration efforts with adjacent systems (GIS, OMS, ERP, CRM, IoT/telemetry, billing systems).\nEnsure data migration, cutover planning, and hypercare support are well-managed to minimize business disruption.\nQuality, Risk & Compliance\nEnsure deliverables meet defined quality standards, acceptance criteria, and utilities industry regulatory requirements.\nChampion adherence to security, data privacy, and compliance standards relevant to utilities (e.g., NERC CIP, where applicable).\nConduct periodic quality audits and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.\nEducational Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.\nAdvanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred.\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n10+ years of experience in technology consulting, program/project delivery, or IT implementation roles, with at least 5 years in a delivery leadership capacity.\nProven track record of leading complex implementation projects, and integrating with existing technology stack (ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, Datawarehouse, etc.).\nPrior experience within the utilities industry (electric, gas, water) is strongly preferred, particularly in field operations, asset management, or customer service domains\nConsulting background with experience in client-facing roles delivering high-impact programs.\nStrong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.\nDemonstrated experience in team building and leadership, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.\nExcellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, execution, and risk management.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and stakeholders at all levels.\nAbility to delegate, prioritize and go above and beyond to drive sprint deliverables as needed.\nTechnical proficiency in system integration, and data analytics.\nAbility to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required and defined per project requirements.\nCertifications:\nProfessional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or similar certifications.\nCertified SCRUM master (CSM) certification a plus.\nSix-Sigma certifications a plus.\nCertified SCRUM product owner (CSPO) a plus.\nRelevant FSM platform certifications (e.g., Salesforce Field Service Consultant, ServiceMax certification) are a plus.\nThe salary range for this position is provided in good faith and is subject to variation based on geographic location, candidate experience, and market conditions.
