Senior Backend Engineer with strong Node.js and NestJS experience who can take ownership of backend architecture, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered services.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.\n\nBuild robust REST APIs and backend services.\n\nDesign and implement database schemas and data access layers.\n\nIntegrate third-party APIs and external services.\n\nImplement authentication, authorization, validation, and security.\n\nDevelop integrations with AI/LLM APIs and AI-powered services.\n\nBuild backend workflows supporting AI features and automation.\n\nDebug and resolve production and performance issues.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code.\n\nParticipate in architecture and technical decisions.\n\nConduct code reviews and maintain development standards.\n\nWork closely with frontend engineers and project management.\n\nUse AI development tools to improve development, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation.\n\nRequirements\n\n3+ years of professional backend development experience.\n\nStrong experience with Node.js.\n\nStrong experience with NestJS.\n\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.\n\nStrong experience building REST APIs.\n\nExperience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.\n\nUnderstanding of authentication and authorization.\n\nStrong understanding of asynchronous programming and backend architecture.\n\nExperience with Git.\n\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.\n\nAbility to independently design and implement backend solutions.\n\nNice to Have\n\nPrisma / TypeORM.\n\nRedis.\n\nPostgreSQL optimization.\n\nDocker.\n\nCI/CD.\n\nAWS / Azure.\n\nMicroservices.\n\nMessage queues / Kafka.\n\nWebSockets.\n\nOpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.\n\nRAG systems.\n\nVector databases.\n\nLangChain / LangGraph.\n\nAI agents and automation.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe want an engineer who can own backend development and architecture.You should be comfortable:\n\nMaking technical decisions independently.\n\nDesigning APIs and backend services.\n\nWorking with databases.\n\nInvestigating production issues.\n\nIntegrating new technologies and
