Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nEnsures compliance and provides import / export administration and control within government rules and regulations.\nProvides user support for export system including problem resolution, customs queries, user issues and recommends/supports systems changes.\nParticipates in the evaluation, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of specific SCM business processes including cost savings and cycle time reduction.\nProvides ongoing support in resolving process/execution issues with both internal and external customers.\nResponds to requests for support/service and develop processes to meet customer demands and ensure satisfaction.\nProvides necessary data for bid activity on import/ export and transportation related costs.\nMonitors activities of the team against defined objectives, reports on achievements and proposes ways in which performance can be improved.\nMaintains applicable system tables in support of related activity.\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nGood knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.\nStrong understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulation.\nKnowledge of basic computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.\nAbility to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.\nGood understanding of internal and external customer requirements.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.\nAbility to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.\nRepetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.\nOccasional overnight travel may be required.\nTypical Experience\nTwo to four years relevant experience.\nTypical Education\nBachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEducational requirements may vary by geography.\nNotes\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
