This role serves as a bridge between R&D and Production, ensuring that sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems are manufactured with maximum efficiency, high yield, and uncompromising quality.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nDesign and implement new manufacturing processes, application software, and tooling for complex capital equipment machines.\nLead initiatives to provide improved yield, productivity, and reduced cycle times through systematic analysis and technical innovation.\nImplement plans and lead the assessment of machine and process capability using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical methods to ensure maximum throughput and cost-efficiency.\nLead the disciplined root-cause analysis for multistage product or process failures that affect factory operations.\nProvide high-level feedback to product designers on the suitability of designs for manufacturability (DFM), ensuring products are optimized for assembly from the prototype stage.\nCreate and manage comprehensive test procedures, assembly instructions, and implementation processes for new product introductions (NPI).\nEnsure all manufacturing and test equipment is properly calibrated, certified, and compliant with corresponding procedures and quality standards.\nProvide advanced technical training to production personnel and mentor junior process engineers.\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering; a Diploma with over 6 years of specialized experience may be considered.\nMinimum 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the semiconductor or heavy capital equipment industry.\nSolid knowledge of electronics, analog, power, and digital systems.\nExpertise in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).\nFamiliarity with High Voltage and Insulation testing protocols.\nProficiency in CAD software and tool/fixture design.\nExperience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and global technical standards.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data-driven reporting.\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. \nRepetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.\nOccasional travel may be required.\nTypical Experience\nAt least 6 years of related experience;Experience in similar job roles\nTypical Education\nBachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEducational Requirements may vary by Geography\nNotes\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
