In this role, you will analyze core operational metrics, prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages, and participate in projects focused on cost efficiency and profit maximization. Joining our collaborative team, you will present actionable insights to management while partnering cross-functionally to shape our financial success.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nActs as project leader for the development of financial plans for a business group or customer account;\nDevelops timelines, plan guidance and plan assumptions;\nGathers and analyzes information on which to base plan assumptions;\nOversees the development and preparation of alternative plan models;\nPrepares and presents summaries to management;\nPrepares monthly financial reporting packages including forecasts, results and financial and operational metrics;\nCompletes special projects involving the analysis of financial information related to inventory, costs, headcount, profit maximization, expense targets both within finance or as member of a cross functional or customer team;\nAs required, plays a leadership role with junior members of the decision support team, coordinating and guiding activities, providing direction or leading group projects.\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nA good understanding of financial statements with increased focus on P&L management;\nIntermediate Excel and Powerpoint skills are required;\nIntermediate to Advanced English skills (both written and spoken) are required;\nAbility to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data\nAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadline;\nAbility to bridge between actual, plan and forecast, analyzing mix impacts and summarizing in management reports;\nAbility to analyze a profit center or cost center budget identifying key drivers;\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal customers;\nAbility to direct others on company accounting practices;\nProvide basic recommendations based on interpretation of results;\nBasic understanding of internal and external customer needs is required to sometimes make effective/informed decisions related to own role;\nStrong communication and presentation skills;\nHave a mindset for continuous improvement, be teamwork oriented, an open communicator and detailed oriented\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data\nRepetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)\nOccasional overnight travel may be required\nTypical Experience\nThree to six years of relevant experience\nTypical Education\nBachelor's degree, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEducation experience may vary by geography.\nNotes\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
