This leadership position will be the primary point of contact for the customer for all technical issues related to development and production of next generation networking and data center technologies. This role is critical in working with our Hyperscale customers in informing and developing the next generation of scalable, reliable, and high-performance networks to support massive growth of AI workloads at scale. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Hyperscale data center routing, switching, data center fabrics, network automation, and a strong understanding of the operational challenges of managing networks at an extreme scale. This is a customer facing role and the candidate will be expected to develop and maintain deep relationships with customer technical leadership.\nResponsibilities\nLead and Own Customer-Facing Network Architecture and Strategy\nLead customer discussions to inform the development of Celestica’s network architecture, design, and deployment strategy for Hyperscale data center networks, including Leaf-Spine (CLOS) topologies and related technologies.\nOwn technical customer relationships to define Celestica’s solution technical specifications, reference architectures, and standards for network hardware, software, and configurations.\nAct as the go-to technical resource for customers building complex infrastructure and help them understand performance characteristics for the best solution.\nDrive Celestica’s Next-Generation Technology Roadmap\nHelp customers evaluate new networking technologies, hardware systems architecture, and platforms to ensure Celestica’s roadmap remains at the cutting-edge of Hyperscale requirements.\nInform Celestica’s network automation and orchestration capability initiatives by representing customer needs in internal roadmap development and prioritization.\nCollaborate with internal R&D, operations/manufacturing, and software development teams to translate requirements into robust network designs.\nQualifications\nDeep expertise in IP routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and their implementation in data center fabrics (e.g., EVPN, VXLAN).\n\nProven experience with network automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).\n\nExtensive knowledge of network hardware, including high-density switches and routers from major vendors or custom hardware.\n\nExperience with hyperscale cloud provider network architecture and operations.\n\nFamiliarity with network monitoring, telemetry, and observability tools at scale.\n\nDemonstrated ability to drive network and systems architecture roadmap development.\n\nRelevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE).\n\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment or manufacturing floor\nLikely there will be 30-50% of travel between customer and Celestica locations\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.\nRepetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.\nAbove demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines\nSalary\nThe range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.\nSalary Range - 165k - 228k\nTypical Experience\n10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a focus on large-scale data center environments.\nTypical Education\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nMaster’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical field (perferred)\n\nNotes\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
