They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized. #LI-PC1\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nFailure Analyze and interpret data and information from yield reports and equipment logs and product diagnostics to determine sources of failure and yield loss.\nDebug and troubleshoot product failure using data analytic, DOE (design of experiments), TDR, Six Sigma tools, and failure analysis methodologies\nCollaborate with Customer, Design, Quality, Process, Supplier Engineer into problem solving and test yield and performance issues.\nDrive failures troubleshooting and develop debug methodology since NPI\nSet up continuous yield improvement and bone pile drive with customer and design team\nIntroduce proper debug tools and capacity per projected failure rate.\nAnalyze failure opportunity and develop and implement test, debug, component failure procedures for efficient and effective detection of defects.\nAnalyze test results and provide feedback to design and component engineers for product performance improvement.\nEvaluate and integrate new test/debug technology to enhance capabilities and address evolving product requirements\nCollaborate with the team on bone pile, scrap and NDF reduction, productivity improvements to cycle time.\nProvide solution support to test engineers to improve detection, increase test coverage, and improve product performance.\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nProficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.\nSolid understanding of test methodologies and equipment used in manufacturing (e.g., functional testing, in-circuit testing, parametric testing).\nFamiliarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and their application in process optimization and problem-solving.\nKnowledge of failure analysis techniques and methodologies.\nUnderstanding of quality management principles and their application in a manufacturing setting.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to develop and present technical documentation and reports.\nBasic understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and data integration concepts (desirable).\nFamiliarity with process control plans and their relationship to test processes.\nTypical Experience\n1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment.\nDemonstrated experience in defining, specifying, qualifying, installing, and supporting test processes and equipment.\nTypical Education\nBachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEducational Requirements may vary by Geography\nNotes\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
