Coordinates timely preparation of financial statements, ensures accuracy and timeliness of audit schedules, and monitors internal controls for the company.\nDetailed Description\nCreating a blackline review calendar & conducting blackline audits across Asia sites. Ensuring blackline reconciliations quality through those audits.\nFacilitating tax compliances (Direct & Indirect) - Quarterly touchpoints with Corp Tax team, facilitating strategic thinking on tax benefits available in countries and jurisdictions, discussion around open tax items and driving to closure\nMaintaining Statutory & Tax compliance calendar for all sites and working with Site Controllers to ensure there are no delays in filings, BOD/ AGM meetings etc. are happening in a timely fashion.\nWorking with global Internal audit team in defining an optimized audit calendar each year, working with sites to ensure there are no major findings, any findings are applied to all sites in an organized manner as a preventive measure, ensure controllers are closing IA findings in a timely manner.\nMaintain an overview and control of the Risk Acceptance process, manage renewals or new submissions.\nWorking with Legal and Corporate tax on Legal entity landscape and optimizations & maintenance, providing strategic inputs on any changes needed. Ensuring share capital reductions and liquidations agreed are occurring in a timely manner\nMaintaining the secretarial services landscape, cost landscape related to it, ensuring optimizations, critical ongoing reviews\nEnsuring proper ownership between finance & operations for licenses & compliances across sites. Facilitating license maintenance for those owned by finance\nComplete ownership for Philippines & Corp entities that are not owned by the sites\nOversee alongwith treasury the cash flow management, dividend distribution compliances from a finance standpoint, tax implications if any, bank signatory management and set up alongwith controllers.\nOversee the FX landscape - currency on vendor contract compliances, FX hedging forecasts & strategies, any changes needed etc.\nIT - own the A1 system from a finance standpoint, ensure procedures are documented and understood by the sites, identify gaps and close, oversee and new implementations\nManage new business reporting & set up requests in Khalix/ SAP. Support the sites to troubleshoot issues as they arize pulling the right experts in as needed.\nProvide support to the sites on an ongoing as needed basis around accounting issues (technical, systems etc)\nRoutinely support existing finance systems applications (SAP, Khalix, Power BI etc.)\nOwning the Asia Closing calendar in partnership with the Asia FP&A lead and Site controllers, leading balance sheet and risk assessment reviews.\nManage GBS R2R, AP, AR relationships, define metrics around measurement of efficiency & support, identify gaps and work with the site & GBS teams to address collaboratively\nDrives sustainable improvement in processes, simplification, optimization across sites\nBuild & own the Training schedule for all Asia finance team.
