Provide support and user training on selected systems (for example SFC, ERP and local applications) and participate in IT projects.\n\nDetailed Description\n\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\n\nEngage with community to explore opportunities for the use of IT solutions\nGather and document business requirements by engaging with business partners\nWork with various IT teams and the business partners to deliver IT solutions\nRespond to system problems by analyzing the issue and determining the next course of action\nProvide system training to end users\nParticipate in various IT projects as required\nParticipate in system migration activities \nTo perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time\n\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\n\nStrong customer service orientation\nLeadership and teamwork skills.\nGood ability to plan projects and tasks.\nProject management skills.\nGood analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication, documentation (including flow charting) and presentation skills.\nUnderstanding of MES/ Shopfloor processes.\nSolid knowledge of the business area to be supported and a solid understanding of its associated business processes.\nStrong understanding of software development life cycle concepts and practices.\nKnowledge/experience with application-to-application and business-to-business integration.\nGood coding skills in specified programming languages (Java script, .NET, C#, etc)\nUnderstanding of interrelations between IT components (software, OS, databases, network, servers, etc.)\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
