Participate in project planning and scheduling.\nReview, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provides customer feedback\nLead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.\nProactively promote industry best practices\nMay manage relationships with key vendors/partners.\nCreate structural or functional test strategy and test plan to meet project goals and requirements\nCreate technical proposals with costed BOM, hours, and schedule estimates\nLead requirements generation with minimal to no guidance, leveraging design specifications and technical product design data\nProvide technical program management for mid to large projects\nEstablish best known methods and processes for test development execution (Structural or Functional) for local and regional teams\nAnalyze industry trends and setting short term investment and skill development strategies and business cases with local or regional impact\nDevelop production test strategies based on product design specification\nDesign and develop test solutions including hardware & software elements and then system integration, qualification, and installation to meet product, quality and test requirements outlined in the test plan.\nDebug of tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies\nExecute all validation/qualification requirements by applying statistical and common industry methods\nStabilization of Test Solutions for manufacturing working to optimize with process teams focusing on cycle time and yield.\nTest developers may also work with product design teams with feedback from product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.\nKeeping up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations\nSet yearly plans and goals for the department, give direction on expected performance, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback.
