In this role, you will work with cross-functional managers, collaborate directly with executive leadership, and shape the long-term strategic direction of our multi-national operations. From architecting advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems to defining winning quote strategies for major new business opportunities, your decisions will directly influence our global market success. If you have a knack for driving continuous improvement, and turning high-level business development strategies into operational realities, we want to hear from you.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nDefines operational quote strategy for the company to support operational needs as well as strategic and growth initiatives.\n\nOrganizes and chairs quote performance reviews with the executive team.\n\nLogs and tracks corrective actions.\n\nWorks with Operating units to find optimum solutions for asset and resource requirements.\n\nDefines strategies for Operational solutions (ie. equipment AVL, resources demographics, etc.).\n\nDevelops Operational solutions necessary to support and satisfy Business Development strategies.\n\nAnticipates requirements for new market initiatives and provides leadership to prepare the Operating Units to succeed.\n\nConduct special studies and analysis as required to support senior management decisions and strategies, and drive operational change.\n\nSupport/direct site quotecell quoting activities within the segment.\n\nEvaluates cost models and develops manufacturing strategies for new customer opportunities.\n\nBenchmark new opportunity cost models with existing products to understand competitiveness.\n\nRecommends cost model guidelines (TPS/PCM) for new customer opportunities.\n\nEvaluates win/loss information to determine any improvements within the quotecell.\n\nParticipate/direct in the quote strategy meetings on new business opportunities.\n\nRecommend site locations for new business opportunities.\n\nDrives continuous improvement utilizing Closed Loop analysis and supports operational elements related to repricing activities.\n\nAct as a liaison between Corporate and the sites / regions for communicating operational initiatives, accomplishments and challenges, and develop / maintain various global databases for sharing information.\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Competencies\nIn-depth knowledge and understanding of Production and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and the profitability of the unit.\nIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing, the production process and the tools and equipment used in the process.\nExcellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.\nAbility to establish manufacturing goals and coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet quality and quantity metrics.\nAbility to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.\nAbility to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers and the senior management team.\nAbility to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high performance levels within tight time deadlines in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment.\nExtensive experience in World Class Manufacturing/Lean implementation.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively cross functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives.\nStrong PCBA/BoxBuild operations process background.\nExcellent business, analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.\nPrevious Program Management / Manufacturing Eng experience.\nStrong financial acumen.\nSalary\nSalary range: $150,000-$185,000\nThe stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only.
