The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing a wide range of agreements, ensuring strict adherence to legal standards and company policies. This role requires exceptional analytical and communication skills to manage risk, optimize financial outcomes, and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors/clients.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following \nParticipates in the negotiations of highly complex agreements and large global customer contracts (with values often exceeding $100M) as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including representatives from Business Development and Sales, Finance, Legal and various Global Customer Units.\nIdentifies stakeholders and ensures that all relevant interests are represented.\nRequires ability to evaluate and prioritize often-divergent interests.\nMakes decisions with respect to balancing the need to be customer-responsive with that of protecting the company's interests.\nEvaluates risks associated with contract terms and provides management with contractual risk analysis.\nLiaisons with CLS legal counsel and senior management.\nInterprets legal advice and provides advisory and educational support to all participants in the contract process.\nActs as an advisor to the VP GM Meta account owner and provides guidance to more junior department members.\nWorks independently and develops extremely complex agreements with little input from the department Director.\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nExcellent writing and communication skills, as well as significant experience and knowledge of legal concepts, contract development and negotiation practices.\nAbility to independently draft high complexity contractual documents is a key element of this position.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nExcellent negotiating skills, perception management skills and relationship management skills.\nGood HR skills as well as employee/team management skills and abilities\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment and remotely.\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.\nRepetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.\nOvernight travel may be required\nTypical Experience\nEleven to Fourteen years of applicable experience\nTypical Education\nBachelor’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEducational Requirements may vary by geography\nSalary\nThe salary range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including by not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.
