This role ensures the infrastructure's ongoing reliability, performance, and security. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the operating environments, responding to incidents and problems, planning for growth, and deploying new technologies.\nAdditionally, the Specialist will design, install, configure, maintain, and test PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware. Other duties include troubleshooting issues reported by users, supporting access to services, and managing the acquisition, replacement, and decommissioning of related equipment, software, and services.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nProvide technical support and perform maintenance\n\nPerform service monitoring and reporting, with a focus on risk management and compliance\n\nExplore new solutions, enhancements and opportunities for continuous improvement, projects and more\n\nPerform the acquisition, provisioning and decommissioning of related equipment, software and services\n\nLead projects and change management initiatives\n\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nStrong customer service orientation\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.\n\nGood communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills.\n\nLeadership and teamwork skills.\n\nAbility to plan projects and tasks.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment.
