Collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and work with various IT teams to develop and deliver solutions. Provide support and user training on selected systems (for example SFC, ERP and local applications). Participate in IT projects in various capacities, including project coordination and management.\nDetailed Description\nPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nEngage with community to explore opportunities for the use of IT solutions\nGather and document business requirements\nWork with various IT teams to develop and deliver IT solutions\nRespond to system problems by analyzing the issue and determining the next course of action\nProvide system training to end users\nParticipate in and lead various IT projects as required\nKnowledge/Skills/Competencies\nKnowledge of programming languages (C++, Java, etc.). \nStrong customer service orientation\nLeadership and teamwork skills. \nGood ability to plan projects and tasks.\nProject management skills.\nGood analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.\nGood communication, documentation (including flow charting) and presentation skills.\nUnderstanding of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes.\nUnderstanding of SCM, shop floor control and ERP applications.\nSolid knowledge of the business area to be supported and a solid understanding of its associated business processes.\nStrong understanding of software development life cycle concepts and practices.\nKnowledge/experience with application-to-application and business-to-business integration.\nBasic to good coding skills in specified programming languages.\nUnderstanding of interrelations between IT components (software, OS, databases, network, servers, etc.)\nPhysical Demands\nDuties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.\nDuties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
