Have decision-making authority and autonomy to deliver on goals of team.This is a role requiring technical background and product development and/or manufacture process experience.\nDuties\nWe are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning both hardware and software development. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders, guiding products through their entire lifecycle from conception to mass production and software release.\nParticipates in all aspects of program executions. Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:\nWorks as a member of and leads cross-functional teams and maybe multi-functional work group or project team consisting of one or more support staff and/or tech/professional staff.\nResponsible for day-to-day activities of customer accounts to ensure that product deliveries are on time and that projects/programs are on schedule. \nCoordinates and hosts regular (as needed) program tracking meetings with the customer and internal program core team members to ensure ongoing communication and up-to-date progress/status reporting occurs. \nDevelops plans to meet commitments and schedules for customers. Develops action plans to correct out-of-plan conditions. \nDrive hardware and software program schedules, ensuring on-time delivery, scope alignment, and high-quality outcomes.\nOversee issue triage and resolution across HW and SW teams, managing change requests and scope adjustments effectively.\nEnhance process efficiency and product quality through active collaboration with QA and engineering teams.\n\nAdditional description of program management:\nReceives and resolves customer issues and complaints. Acts as a customer advocate to drive prioritization of projects and responses to problems/issues. \nInterfaces with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise. \nInteracts with and influences management and/or customers on significant issues. \nPerson Background\nCandidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience. Must be able to read/write in English and with good spoken English. Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:\nUniversity degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nVery strong customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills.\nExcellent presentation, database management and computer skills.\nAbility to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines.\nAbility to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.\nAbility to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines.\nUnderstands that erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and serious delays in overall schedules of a site and/or regional function.\nPOR(schedule, budget and cost) management and Change management skill.\nRisk management. (Risk identification, mitigation skill)\nAdditional qualifications desired:\nWorking experience in R&D or product development organizations\nPMI PMP certification, or Agile/Scrum Master Certification\nPersonal Attributes\nCommunications - clear, concise, both written and spoken.\nComfortable with technical report writing.\nCandidate must possess strong customer communication skills.\nDetails orientated.\nPersonal interest to drive issues to root cause, logical problem solving.\nTask independence. Ability to aggressively drive tasks independently and to seek out information internally, externally.\nTeam orientated.
