This role serves as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, and partners closely with vendors, brokers, and internal HR teams to deliver a seamless benefits experience for employees. This role owns HRIS data management and US benefits administration, while also driving efficiency through AI-powered HR tools. The ideal candidate combines strong HR operations expertise with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and brings familiarity with HiBob as a plus.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister all US employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, 401(k)/retirement plans, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefits \nManage the annual open enrollment process, including system setup, employee communications, and vendor coordination \nProcess new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and benefits terminations accurately and within required timelines \nServe as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving issues related to eligibility, claims, and enrollment \nReconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accurate billing from carriers and vendors \nEnsure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and other applicable federal/state regulations \nPrepare and file required compliance documents (e.g., 5500s, ACA reporting, Summary Plan Descriptions) \nMaintain accurate employee data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with company policy\nManage the employee lifecycle process (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations) within HR systems\nOwn the administration of US benefits programs, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations\nReconcile benefits data between the HRIS and insurance carriers/vendors\nLeverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, HR chatbots, automation platforms) to streamline HR operations, improve reporting, and enhance employee self-service\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and drive operational efficiency\nGenerate, audit, and analyze HR reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and support decision-making\nServe as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR data, benefits, and system access\nPartner with Payroll, Benefits, IT, and People teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve cross-functional processes\nEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.)\nDevelop and maintain documentation of HR operational procedures and best practices\nMaintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n3+ years of experience maintaining HR data in an HRIS platform\nHands-on experience with a US benefits module (e.g., Workday Benefits, ADP, SuccessFactors, UKG, or similar)\nPractical experience using AI tools in an HR or operational context (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude for HR workflows, AI-powered HRIS features, automation tools)\nStrong understanding of US benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, COBRA)\nHigh attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills\nProficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) for data auditing and reporting\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion\nFamiliarity with HR compliance regulations (ACA, ERISA, FMLA) preferred\nPreferred Skills / Advantage\n Familiarity with HiBob (bob) HRIS platform is a strong advantage\nExperience with HRIS report writing or dashboard tools\nPrior experience supporting open
