We work across borders, functions and cultures, bringing different perspectives together to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful results for our customers.\nThe Role\nYou'll help develop and evolve our data platform, working closely with Engineering, Analytics, AI, Product and business teams to deliver reliable, secure and scalable data solutions.\nBuild and scale data pipelines: Design, develop and optimise reliable, production-ready data pipelines and platform services.\n\nDevelop modern data architecture: Contribute to our data warehouse and lakehouse capabilities using cloud technologies.\n\nOwn production reliability: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and improve platform stability and efficiency.\n\nEnable innovation: Build the foundations for analytics, reporting, machine learning and AI.\n\nChampion data quality and security: Support data governance, compliance and engineering best practices.\n\nCollaborate across teams: Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.\n\nWhat we're looking for\n4+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering or Backend Engineering, with a strong focus on data.\n\nExpert-level SQL skills and a solid understanding of data modelling, including dimensional modelling.\n\nHands-on experience building, deploying and maintaining production data pipelines.\n\nExperience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.\n\nWorking knowledge of Google Cloud data services, ideally including Dataflow, Datastream, Dataform and Pub/Sub.\n\nExperience with AWS, GCP or Azure and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.\n\nFamiliarity with workflow automation, production monitoring, troubleshooting and reliability.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nSkills you will have fine-tuned\nPython, dbt and analytics engineering.\n\nMachine learning infrastructure, feature stores or vector databases.\n\nData governance and cataloguing tools such as DataHub, Atlan or Unity Catalog.\n\nKubernetes and containerised data workloads.\n\nGraph data, entity resolution or large-scale unstructured datasets.\n\nRegulated environments and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA or FedRAMP.\n\nContributions to open-source projects or data engineering communities.\n\nWhat's in it for you:\nWe offer you the opportunity to be an innovator, challenge the status quo, and redefine the payments category\nCompetitive salary in a fast-growing start-up\nOpportunity for personal and professional growth in a dynamic industry\nWork from anywhere in the world; we're a fully distributed company, and we provide the tools, culture, and support to make your work setup work for you\nWhat makes CellPoint Digital a leader in the payment landscape isn’t just our technology - it’s our people and how we work together.
