You'll play a key role in driving our security strategy, compliance initiatives and cloud security posture while helping us continue to scale securely as a global fintech organisation.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to influence major initiatives including DevSecOps, disaster recovery, cloud security, PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, while helping protect the platforms and services that power payments for some of the world's leading brands.\nYour Team\nThis role sits within our TechOps organisation, working closely with Architecture, Engineering, Product, Customer Success and Compliance teams across the business.\nYou will join a globally distributed team of technology professionals responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of CellPoint Digital's platform and services. As a key security expert within the organisation, you will collaborate across multiple teams and functions, helping build a strong security culture while enabling innovation and business growth.\nResponsibilities\nProvide security guidance and architectural expertise across platform, application and infrastructure design initiatives\n\nPartner with Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure security is embedded into new products, services and platform capabilities\n\nLead security initiatives supporting PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance programmes\n\nDrive the implementation and adoption of DevSecOps and Shift-Left Security practices across engineering teams\n\nEnhance cloud security controls and best practices across our Google Cloud environments\n\nDesign and improve disaster recovery and resilience capabilities across critical systems\n\nSupport API security architecture, API gateways and authentication frameworks\n\nIdentify security risks and provide practical recommendations to reduce risk while supporting business objectives\n\nSupport customer onboarding activities by providing security expertise and responding to security-related enquiries\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors during compliance assessments and certifications\n\nPromote security awareness and best practices across the organisation\n\nExperience\n5+ years of experience working within Cyber Security, Security Engineering or Security Architecture roles\n\nStrong experience designing and implementing security controls across cloud-native environments\n\nExperience supporting security and compliance frameworks including PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001 or SOC 2\n\nStrong understanding of web application security and secure software development practices\n\nExperience implementing DevSecOps and Shift-Left Security initiatives\n\nExperience working with engineering teams in modern cloud-based environments\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nExperience operating within fast-paced technology, fintech or SaaS organisations\n\nAbility to balance security requirements with business and operational objectives\n\nQualifications\nStrong working knowledge of Cloud Security principles and best practices\n\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud providers\n\nGood understanding of Kubernetes security, preferably within GKE environments\n\nDeep understanding of Web Application Security concepts and controls\n\nExperience securing APIs, API gateways and modern integration architectures\n\nHands-on experience with authentication and identity management solutions\n\nExperience implementing DevSecOps practices within engineering organisations\n\nKnowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessment and security governance\n\nDesirable\nExperience working within payments, fintech or highly regulated industries\n\nExperience supporting PCI DSS certification programmes\n\nExperience with security tooling across Kubernetes and cloud-native environments\n\nKnowledge of Zero Trust security principles\n\nExperience supporting ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives\n\nFamiliarity with fraud prevention, payment security and customer authentication technologies\n\nWhy Join CellPoint Digital?\nThis is an opportunity to play a critical role in protecting and strengthening the security foundations of a fast-growing global fintech organisation.\nYou'll work on complex technical challenges, influence company-wide security strategy and partner with talented teams across the business to ensure security remains a competitive advantage.
