The ideal candidate will own the quality lifecycle across product development, ensuring robust test coverage, production-grade reliability, and continuous quality improvements through modern engineering practices.\nYou will work closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Architects, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to design comprehensive test strategies, develop scalable automation frameworks, validate complex payment and microservices-based systems, and ensure high-quality software releases. This role requires a strong balance of automation expertise, analytical problem-solving, and hands-on manual testing to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing applications.\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nOwn end-to-end quality engineering for assigned products and features from design through production release.\n\nDesign and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance scalable automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and release confidence.\n\nPerform hands-on manual testing where automation is not appropriate, ensuring complete functional and business validation.\n\nValidate complex microservices, APIs, payment workflows, and third-party integrations while ensuring data integrity across distributed systems.\n\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis for defects, production incidents, and quality issues.\n\nDrive shift-left testing practices by collaborating closely with developers during feature design and implementation.\n\nEnsure production readiness through risk assessment, regression validation, and release quality reviews.\n\nMentor QA engineers by promoting engineering best practices, automation standards, and technical excellence.\n\nContribute to continuous improvements in QA processes, automation frameworks, test coverage, and engineering quality metrics.\n\nLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve test design, automation development, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity while maintaining engineering quality and governance.\n\nSkills you will have fine-tuned:\nQuality Engineering: E2E quality ownership, shift-left testing, test strategy/planning, functional/integration/system testing, regression, exploratory & risk-based testing\n\nTest Automation: Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, Postman/Bruno, API/UI automation, BDD, data-driven testing, framework development & maintenance\n\nAPI & Integration: REST/JSON, OAuth/authentication, microservices, contract testing, third-party integrations, payment gateway & E2E transaction testing\n\nQuality & Release: RCA, defect management, release readiness, quality gates, quality metrics & reporting\n\nEngineering Practices: Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, continuous testing, secure testing, code reviews & test documentation\n\nDomain: Payments domain and PCI DSS awareness\n\nAI-Enabled QA: AI-assisted testing/development and awareness of emerging AI-driven QA tools and practices\n\nCertifications: ISTQB and relevant automation certifications preferred\n\nWhat's in it for you:\nWe offer you the opportunity to be an innovator, challenge the status quo, and redefine the payments category\n\nCompetitive salary in a fast-growing start-up\n\nMedical insurance with coverage for dependents (parents, spouse, children)\n\nOpportunity for personal and professional growth in a dynamic industry\n\nPlease note, we retain applicant data for 12 months for recruitment purposes and future opportunities, after which it is securely deleted.
