With a growing portfolio of specialist businesses, Celnor provides essential services that protect people, property and the environment.\n\nWhile each business retains its own identity, culture and technical specialism, all are supported by a central group function that invests in people, systems and long-term sustainable growth.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Limerick.\n\nThis role is focused on the day-to-day operational management of the business, providing leadership across field services, air emissions testing, laboratory operations and reporting functions. Working closely with the leadership team, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, resources are managed effectively and clients continue to receive a high standard of service.\n\nThis is a people and operations leadership role rather than a technical specialist position. We are looking for someone who can organise teams, manage workloads, improve processes and maintain operational performance across multiple service areas.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage daily operations across field services, air emissions, laboratory and reporting teams\nCoordinate resources, scheduling and workloads to ensure projects are delivered on time\nSupport and develop operational staff through coaching, training and performance management\nEnsure reporting deadlines are met and client deliverables are issued accurately and efficiently\nOversee equipment management, servicing schedules and operational readiness\nMaintain and improve operational procedures and workflows\nSupport the preparation of routine quotations and pricing requests\nManage RAMS, auditing activities and operational compliance requirements\nAct as a key point of contact for operational queries from colleagues, clients and stakeholders\nProvide regular operational updates and performance information to the leadership team\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and customer satisfaction\n\nSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nPrevious experience in an Operations Manager, Service Manager, Team Manager or similar leadership role\nStrong people management and leadership skills\nExperience managing operational teams, schedules and workloads\nExcellent organisational and planning abilities\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nExperience improving operational performance and business processes\nAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment\nGood IT skills and experience using operational management systems\nFull driving licence\n\nDesirable\n\nExperience within environmental services, testing, laboratory, compliance or technical service industries\nExperience managing field-based teams\nKnowledge of health and safety procedures, RAMS and auditing activities\nExperience working within a growing SME or multi-disciplinary business\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe are looking for a proactive and organised leader who enjoys managing people, improving processes and ensuring operational excellence.\n\nThe successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple service areas, supporting teams to deliver high-quality work and maintaining strong communication with both clients and colleagues.
