This is an exciting opportunity to undertake groundworks, building works, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC works on site in relation to company projects. You'll play a crucial role in environmental remediation and construction projects, working across varied sites while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out site works under the direction of the SEED Remediation Team Leader, Contracts Manager and/or appropriate staff\nUtilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate\nKeep sites tidy, clean and safe, ensuring daily checklists are adhered to\nDrive machinery and undertake hand dig excavation works to facilitate contamination removal\nSupport the maintenance and servicing of equipment, raising awareness of faulty equipment\nAssist with collecting photographs throughout works for documentation purposes\nCarry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations, including relevant RAMS documentation\nAssist with spill response operations\nUse power tools to carry out intrusive construction works\nIdentify potential hazards and work in a controlled manner around site-specific environments\nAttend training sessions, toolbox talks, and team meetings as required\n\nSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise\n\nEssential Requirements:\nPrevious experience of working on site in construction and/or remediation\nAbility to operate plant and machinery\nAbility to manage personal time to achieve high levels of productivity\nFull UK driving licence\nCan-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work in a varied and sometimes challenging environment\nBasic DBS check\nWillingness to work away from home when necessary\n\nDesirable:\nWillingness to expand skill set and identify learning needs\nKnowledge of contamination removal procedures\nExperience with OFTEC works\n\nJoin Us\n\nYou’ll be joining a business where your contribution matters and where professionalism, integrity and teamwork are genuinely valued.
