This is an entry level position where full training will be provided, making it an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in water hygiene and risk management.\n\nAs a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out Legionella risk assessments across a varied client portfolio, identifying risks, providing practical recommendations, producing written reports and supporting clients in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and guidance. The role requires a candidate who can drive and work across multiple sites, including nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays.\nThere may also be opportunity for international travel. The role requires working in a range of different types of buildings including hospitals, commercial settings, schools and public buildings.\nNo previous industry experience is required. Our ideal candidate is someone with the right attitude, analytical mindset and willingness to learn.\nThis is primarily a field based role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment, enjoys solving problems, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing high quality work.\n\nWhat you will do\nCarry out Legionella risk assessments in accordance with industry guidance including BS8580-1.\nInspect hot and cold water systems across a range of commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial sites.\nProduce detailed risk assessment reports and provide clear recommendations to clients.\nIdentify compliance issues and advise on appropriate remedial actions.\nWorking alongside experienced consultants and authorising engineers while completing your training.\nTravelling to client sites with some overnight stays where required. \nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients.\nWork collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders.\nContribute to continuous improvement, compliance and quality standards.\n\nWho you are\nYou are a motivated professional who brings a practical, solutions focused mindset. You will ideally have:\nExperience of report writing.\nA degree (or equivalent qualification), preferably in a scientific, engineering or environmental discipline.\nA genuine interest in science and engineering.\nStrong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports. \nProficiency in Microsoft office.\nConfidence communicating with clients and colleagues.\nMotivation to learn and develop professionally.\nThe ability to manage your own workload and work independently.\n A full UK driving licence.\nA high level of attention to detail and accountability.\nThe ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.\nA collaborative approach and a commitment to doing things the right way.\nKnowledge of water systems or the built environment is advantageous but not essential \n\nJoin us\n You’ll be joining a business where your contribution matters and where professionalism, integrity and teamwork are genuinely valued.
