Celona is now defining a new category of enterprise wireless purpose-built for physical and agentic AI - converging private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite into a unified wireless fabric with agentic intelligence built in.\nThe result is a deterministic wireless foundation purpose-built for the AI-native enterprise, connecting AI agents, autonomous machines, and the people who work alongside them.\nCelona is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer who will drive pre-sales technical interactions with Celona customers and prospects as well as partners and service providers. The role will include but not be limited to product presentations, customer consultation/training, proof of concept/value field testing and even deployments of Celona private 5G LAN solutions.\nRequirements\nCreate and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to technical and product groups of customers, service providers and channel partners\nParticipate in the consultation to prospective customers and/or product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process\nCollaborate with customer/partner network engineers, architects, operation support staff to map customer requirements to Celona’s products\nWork with different stakeholders in Celona to drive pre- and post-sales alignment and engagement with partners\nDrive pre-sales tests, demos, proof of concept and trial networks with Celona products as it applies to Service Providers and end-customers \nBuild long term relationships and be seen and treated by Celona customers, service providers and channel partners as a trusted and valued resource\nCollaborate with the channel sales and field marketing to plan, deliver, and manage effective demand generation campaigns \nWork closely with the corporate technical, product and development teams in defining and specifying product and market requirements.\nTravel within the territory to visit customers, service providers, channel partners and attend trade shows\nAssist in the development of technical marketing collateral including white papers, data sheets, presentation material, etc.\nGenerate, define and document product requirements from customers and channel partners and communicate to key stakeholders, internally and externally.\nYou will be an ideal candidate if you have:\nA strong background with enterprise wireless networking including 4G/5G Cellular technologies or B2B Enterprise cloud managed networking solutions is required\nExperience designing, building enterprise Wi-Fi networks or carrier grade 4G/5G networks\nHands on experience deploying, optimizing and monitoring live enterprise Wi-Fi or cellular networks\n4+ years in wireless product technical sales experience\nExperience being part of a team that delivered the first version of a product to customers, ideally in a start-up environment\nKnowledge in L2 and L3 networking technologies including Switching, VLANs, 802.11, Routing Mobile/Cellular Network Architecture (4G & 5G)\nExcellent communication skills - both written and verbal\nStrong organization skills, ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail\nPassion for quality with a solid work ethic and team player attitude\nAbility to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment\nTemperament to thrive in a highly dynamic, high-growth environment\nWillingness to travel to customer and partner locations \nA willingness to work outside of your comfort zone with a “let’s get it done” attitude\nBachelor of Science or Engineering degree\nSalary Description\n$180,000-$215,000 (base + commission)","description_format":"text","description_chars":3789,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":4,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Mobile Networks","Enterprise Networks"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T22:46:42Z"}],"liveness":{"score":16,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.9,"p_active":0.505,"p_room":0.35,"age_days":50,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["conf:51","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":215000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/celona-sr-sales-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/celona-sr-sales-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T04:09:19Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4232,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":768,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
