Job entails following up, implementing, and improving standards while promoting a safe and engaging workplace. Process Engineer in the plant will be responsible for the Process Engineering side of the business/operations, that includes more analysis, study, process troubleshooting and process optimization.\nJob Responsibilities\nWork following the Mission, Vision and Values of CEMEX, lead by example.\nTo initiate, develop and implement plant improvement projects.Eliminate equipment restrictions\nImplement projects/upgrades to improve KPI performance\nCommission Equipment\n\nTo provide expertise and technical knowledge to plant personnel.Identify Training requirements and execute Training programs to reach standard level. \nIdentify gaps on performance versus standards on equipment and personnel, creating actions.\nCreates instructions, procedures, and standards, and assure compliance of both \nRoot Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting\n\nEnsure performance and efficiency of equipment at or above rated operational capacities, minimize operational cost.Perform mass and heat balances\nPerform hydraulic calculations in industrial fans/ ductwork and gas handling. \nPerform equipment diagnostics\nValidate plant instrumentation by a routine testing program.\nPID optimization\nSpecific Heat Consumption & Specific Power Consumption Optimization\n\nAlternative Fuel & Fuel performance up to strategyFollow up and improve performance of grinding media and refractory performance\nEnvironmental reagent optimization while always complying with environmental limits\n\nTake decisions and accountability to reach objectives.Daily performance follow-up\n\nData logPrevious Conclusions\nAction Follow up\nProcess Flow Charts & Equipment information upkeep\nPI/Seeq Champions/Power Users\n\nAction follow-up of all previously described activities.\nSafety Responsibilities\nAdhere and ensure all CEMEX, MSHA, O.S.H.A., and other safety rules and regulations at all times.
