Join us and make a positive impact on human and animal health.\nJob Details\nResponsibilities:\nPrepares and reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger updates to support accurate period-end close.\n\nProcesses accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions (invoice processing, exception handling, and payment execution support).\n\nPerforms subledger-to-ledger reconciliations, investigates discrepancies, and coordinates corrections to maintain data integrity.\n\nMaintains cost and inventory accounting data and resolves master data or transaction issues impacting reporting.\n\nProduces routine analyses and reporting for budgets, forecasts, working capital, cash flow, and capital activity, summarizing key drivers.\n\nExecutes assigned controls, retains supporting evidence, and escalates and coordinates resolution of control exceptions across credit and payment reconciliation processes.\n\nEducational Background:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.\n\nWork Experience:\n2+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, reconciliations, close support, reporting support, or a related field required.\n\nCerificates:\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or equivalent certification preferred.\n\nSkill and Knowledge:\nFluent in German\n\nKnowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial statements.\n\nAbility to perform financial analysis, including forecasting and financial modeling.\n\nStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.\n\nStrong organization and time management skills with attention to detail.\n\nAbility to resolve customer payment and accounts payable issues.\n\nDemonstrates leadership or supervisory capability where applicable.\n\nAbility to work independently and show initiative.\n\nAbility to implement and maintain processes that support satisfactory audit practices.\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\n\nKnowledge of accounting and reporting tools such as Hyperion, Oracle SmartView, and SAP.\n\nWorking knowledge of credit and collection procedures.\n\nUnderstanding of market trends affecting the pharmacy business where applicable.\n\nSalary Rages:\n2135 - 3051 EUR gross monthly\nWhat Cencora offers\nWe offer a competitive annual bonus, life insurance from Day 1, a best-in-class health insurance package, and up to 6 fully paid benefit days a year.
