Apply today!\nJob Details\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead cloud architecture, design, and migration initiatives across enterprise workloads. This role will be responsible for defining cloud architecture, guiding application and infrastructure migration programs, and partnering with application, security, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.\nThe Cloud Architect will play a key role in migration, application modernization, and large-scale cloud adoption programs, acting as a trusted technical advisor to engineering and business stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nCloud Architecture & Design\nDefine end-to-end cloud architecture and solution designs aligned to enterprise standards and guidance\n\nDesign landing zones, network topology, identity, security, and governance models\n\nReview and approve architecture designs to ensure scalability, resiliency, compliance, and performance\n\nCloud Migration & Modernization\nLead and support application and infrastructure migrations to cloud\n\nDrive workload placement decisions\n\nPartner with application teams on modernization strategies, including containerization and PaaS adoption\n\nSupport migration planning, dependency analysis, and cutover strategies\n\nEngineering & Delivery Support\nProvide hands-on guidance to delivery teams during build and migration phases\n\nCollaborate with DevOps teams on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and automated deployments\n\nEnsure designs align with security, network, and compliance requirements\n\nStakeholder & Governance Engagement\nAct as architectural advisor to the stakeholder teams\n\nParticipate in architecture reviews, governance forums, and design authorities\n\nContribute to cloud standards, reference architectures, and best practices documentation\n\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience\n15+ years of overall IT experience, with 8+ years in cloud architecture\n\nProven experience delivering cloud migration and modernization initiatives\n\nStrong hands-on experiene with Microsoft Azure architecture and services\n\nTechnical Skills\nDeep knowledge of:\nAzure core services (Compute, Network, Storage, Identity, Security)\n\nCloud networking, identity, and security design\n\nHybrid and multi-cloud architectures\n\nWell versed with AI Tools, GHCP\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps tooling (GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines)\n\nUnderstanding of cost optimization, reliability, and operational excellence\n\nSoft Skills\nStrong architecture communication and documentation skills\n\nAbility to influence without authority and work across multiple teams\n\nComfortable engaging with senior engineering and leadership stakeholders\n\nPreferred Qualification s:\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert certification\n\nPrior experience in enterprise-scale regulated environments\n\nExposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures\n\nEducational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline\n\n.\nExperience & Educational Requirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 6+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in software designing and development or systems architecture.\nPreferred Certifications:\nCloud Architect Certifications\nIntegration Architects Certifications\nApplication/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect Training and Certification, e.g. TOGAF\nSkills & Knowledge:\nBehavioral Skills:\nCollaboration\nCreativity & Innovation\nDecision Making\nPlanning\nPresentation Skills\nRisk-taking\nTechnical Skills:\nCloud Architecture\nData Architecture & Governance\nIntegration Testing and Validation\nOperating Systems\nProgramming and Development\nApplication Architecture\nSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC)\nTools Knowledge:\nArchitecture Framework tools\nCloud Computing Tools (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)\nIntegration and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Copado, Azure DevOps)\nProgramming and Development and Development Languages\nSpine Mapping: P4\nPriority: 1\nWhat Cencora offers\nBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
