Job Details
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 1pm-9:30pm Saturdays 7am-3:30pm
Location: 13000 Weston Pkwy Cary NC 27513
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates shipment movement activities with internal teams, network offices, agents, airlines, and service partners to support timely transit and delivery execution.
- Processes shipment data, status updates, and operational records in applicable systems to maintain accuracy, traceability, and shipment visibility.
- Monitors active shipments and communicates delays, exceptions, and routing issues to relevant stakeholders to support timely resolution and continuity of service.
- Verifies shipment documentation, tracking details, and transaction records to support compliance with transportation requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintains information flow across customer service, operations, and transportation partners to support aligned execution and responsive issue handling.
- Reviews operational trends and recurring shipment issues and provides recommendations to improve workflow, service consistency, and data accuracy.
- Supports daily coverage of transportation and customer service activities to sustain operational continuity across scheduled service periods.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation coordination, shipment tracking, customer service operations, or a related field required.
- Certification in Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or equivalent certification preferred.
