As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Consumer Category Management team.\nThroughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.\nStart Date: June 7, 2027\nEnd Date: August 13, 2027\nLocation: Location: Conshohocken, PA - Hybrid\nThis internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nRole Overview\nThe Consumer Category Management Intern will support the Category Management team by assisting with administrative activities currently handled by Associate Category Managers. The intern will gain exposure to new item ordering and tracking, return authorization processes, GNP product image requests for reporting agencies, contract status tracking, and category review activity. Working alongside a lead Category Manager, the intern will learn the steps involved in a category review, attend supplier meetings, and assist in preparing category review materials, providing practical exposure to the category management career path.\nResponsibilities\nSupport new item ordering and tracking activities.\nCreate, request, and track return authorizations.\nRequest GNP product images for reporting agencies.\nTrack contract status and support related administrative follow-up.\nPartner with a lead Category Manager to learn the category review process.\nAttend supplier meetings to gain exposure to category management activities.\nAssist in creating category review documents and supporting materials.\nEducation and Experience\nCurrently pursuing coursework in a business-related field, including marketing, management, finance, accounting, or supply chain.\nNo formal category management experience required; prior work experience in customer-facing fields is a plus.\nRising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred \nMust not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future. \nSkills and Knowledge\nProficiency in Microsoft Office 360.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.\nAbility to manage administrative tasks, tracking activity, and documentation accurately.\nInterest in category management, supplier relationships, and business operations.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and business partners.\nWhat Cencora offers\nWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
