As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Integration Project Management team.\nThroughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.\nStart Date: June 7, 2027\nEnd Date: August 13, 2027\nLocation: Remote, USA\nThis internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the planning, documentation, and optimisation of processes for new client launches, onboarding at a new facility, and transitioning existing clients to that facility.\nAssist in developing workflows, process maps, checklists, implementation tools, and standardised materials to support launch readiness.\nWork cross-functionally with Distribution team leads, IT, Account Management, Customer Service, Client Financial Services, and Implementation stakeholders.\nHelp define required process updates, identify risks and gaps, and support the creation of a structured execution roadmap with milestones, sequencing, and key decision points.\nSupport the definition of launch readiness criteria and operational handoff requirements.\nTrack action items, key deliverables, project timelines, and implementation progress.\nPrepare summaries, presentations, and status updates for project stakeholders and leadership. \nContribute to improving launch readiness, reducing operational risk, and supporting a smooth client onboarding and transition experience.\nEducation and Experience\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.\nSuitable for an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in operations, process improvement, or project management.\nRising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred \nMust not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future. \nSkills and Knowledge\nMotivated, curious, and eager to learn.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication.\nCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.\nOrganised and able to manage multiple priorities.\nAdaptable and open to feedback.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.\nWhat Cencora offers\nWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
