As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Enterprise Integration Technical Delivery team.\nThroughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures.\nStart Date: June 7, 2027\nEnd Date: August 13, 2027\nLocation: Conshohocken, PA\nThis internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nKey Responsibilities include:\nThe Java Web Applications & Business Services Intern will assist with Enterprise Java web application development. \nLearn our tech. environment to maintain and enhance our Java applications used by the Distribution Center associates and optimize the application.\nKnowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred\nwork on relational database configuration and connectivity.\nWriting JUNIT cases and updating documentation would also be part of the day-to-day tasks.\nAssist in making changes to document layouts using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native technology.\nAssisting to enhance Java applications that help the EOM team monitor and manage the transactions that flow through the system.\nEducation and Experience:\nCurrently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology etc.\nRising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred\nMust not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.\nSkills and Knowledge:\nKnowledge in programming languages, preferably Java, databases, application development, SDLC and client server architecture preferred\nHighly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \nStrong interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.\nDemonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or work experiences. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
