Apply today!\nJob Details\nResponsible for creating repeatable designs that enable the desired business outcomes to be realised. Working with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and technology providers to define the architecture for end to end solutions across systems portfolio, ensuring fast delivery of standards based interfaces aligned to business pipeline, application roadmaps and enterprise architecture guidance. This includes:\nImprove speed of delivery using standards based approach to design.\n\nCreate a componentized end to end solution designs to maximize re-use.\n\nEnsuring that solutions are designed & developed are both scalable and sustainable.\n\nLooking holistically and identifying opportunities for synergy.\n\nStandardize delivery of architectural artefacts through the PMO process.\n\nHelp define repeatable pattern sets for key use cases.\n\nConsidering the current and future needs of the organization for specific technologies and solutions to deliver projects.\n\nKey Competencies\nDevelops high level solution detailed designs for programmer or projects working in collaboration with the presales director, utilizing available expertise from domain specialists and 3rd party solution providers to ensure that they meet the needs of the business, are fit for purpose and supportable.\n\nTakes a holistic approach to solution design, considering wider factors such as Business Strategic goals, customer pipeline, the future state architectural vision, existing IT landscape and the IT portfolio plan.\n\nBuilds strong relationships with business stakeholders, understanding their objectives and becoming a trusted advisor on technology decisions - ensure architecture considerations are communicated effectively and understood.\n\nWorks with 3rd party solution providers to explore opportunities and evaluate their capability fit.\n\nEngages with business stakeholders to assess the suitability of products and services against functional and non-functional requirements, technology standards and architecture principles.\n\nEnsures the application portfolio is managed and maintained for Alloga TSFM and feeds into wider Enterprise Architecture.\n\nCommercially aware, able work with country teams, technology vendors to understand their costs based on commercial models and decipher licensing arrangements.\n\nEnsure application, data and infrastructure requirements as well as systems interdependencies and key integration requirements have been identified, documented and incorporated into the end to end solution design.\n\nProduces high level cost estimates in collaboration with the project, engineering and test teams\n\nIdentify potential project pre-requisites or interdependencies, understand the implications and communicate appropriately to all affected projects, where possible avoiding hard dependencies between projects\n\nWorks within the guidelines of the Enterprise Architecture Framework and maintains the information held within the Enterprise Architecture repository\n\nAnalyze the current systems portfolio to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.\n\nReviews business drivers and strategies, understands the implications to the application architecture, and identifies/mitigates risks to solutions.\n\nAble to clearly communicate design decisions and recommendations including rationale to business & IT stakeholders\n\nSeeks design approval through the technical design authority\n\nProvides design governance during the delivery phase of projects to ensure integrity of the solution design and the effective evaluation of changes\n\nDevelop migration strategies to close gaps between current and future states of the application architectures targeting the removal of technical debt as a priority\n\nChampions and communicates the application and integration architecture, as agreed with the TSFM, business leaders and project teams; associating the implication of the architecture to objectives/drivers/goals.\n\nAll solutions delivered should be to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies with agreed levels of documentation through the agreed SDLC\n\nJob holder specification\nCan do attitude, with strong accountability and ownership.
