Apply today!\nJob Details\nLocation: Gainsborough\nSalary: £38,737.92 per annum\nHours: 48 hours per week\nShift Pattern: Monday to Saturday, 6:30am - 5:00pm\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our Transport team based in Gainsborough. Reporting to the Driver Team Managers and Fleet Transport Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle compliance.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working independently, takes pride in providing outstanding service and is committed to operating safely and professionally at all times.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely deliver products to customers in line with company procedures and schedules.\n\nMaintain a high standard of driving, adhering to speed limits, road traffic regulations and safe driving practices.\n\nComplete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, including lights, brakes, fluid levels and general condition.\n\nReport any vehicle faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly.\n\nKeep vehicles clean and presentable, both internally and externally.\n\nEnsure the vehicle is sufficiently fuelled for the day's activities.\n\nMaintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.\n\nCheck all deliveries via the EPOD terminal and ensure all orders are loaded correctly.\n\nCollect customer returns, mail and delivery bins, ensuring their safe return to the branch.\n\nHandle damages and breakages in line with company procedures, including HazChem requirements where applicable.\n\nMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.\n\nBuild and maintain excellent customer relationships.\n\nSupport the wider transport team and undertake additional duties as required.\n\nComply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.\n\n.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nFull UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.\n\nAged 21 or over for insurance purposes.\n\nWillingness to keep Fleet Services updated on any changes to licence status, including endorsements or driving bans.\n\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\n\nGood numeracy and literacy skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage your workload effectively.\n\nDesirable\nPrevious multi-drop delivery driving experience.\n\nRoute planning experience.\n\nKnowledge of delivery management systems and handheld devices.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:\nStrong customer focus and commitment to service excellence.\n\nEffective communication skills.\n\nGood planning and organisational abilities.\n\nSound decision-making skills.\n\nA proactive approach to problem-solving.\n\nAdaptability and openness to change.\n\nCommitment to continuous self-development.\n\nAbility to take ownership of responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.\n\nManual Handling Requirements\nThis role involves regular manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying and bending, which are essential requirements of the position.
