Apply today!\nJob Details\nThis role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.\nIn our brand-new Kirchheim branch, we are looking for a Supervisor on our dedicated Operations team. You will supervise operational activities in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and ensure smooth operations during shift.\nRequirements:\nCaptures and meets customer’s expectations.\nCommunicates knowledge and experience to front line staff and acts as coach, trainer and role model.\nPlans and schedules front line staff, keeping a grasp on daily activity, and ensures proper resource use on a daily basis.\nProvides feedback to managers on daily issues & staff performance.\nEnsures conformance to all company procedures and standards as well as all GxP requirements while complying with regulatory agencies standards (PIP, Transport Canada, TSA regulations, etc) and cold chain requirements.\nAssists the Operations Manager in training on SOPs (global and local).\nEnsuring that refrigeration / temperature control equipment is working correctly.\nTroubleshooting and problem management.\nDelegates all shipments to customer service / operations staff.\nMonitors screens to ensure all deadlines are met, following up on all work in progress\nAssists other departments with general questions about the operation & packaging and supporting sales by providing technical expertise and participating in sales calls/presentations.\nImplements new technology to increase productivity and performance. \nMaintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.\nMaximizes employee morale, productivity, efficiency and retention.\nAssists the Operations Manager in conducting performance evaluations and yearly reviews.\nDemonstrates flexibility in work schedule\n.\nRelevant operational experience in logistic operations\nFull understanding of Cold Chain Management\nFlexibility, exceptional work ethic and Leadership agility\nProfessional manner and sense of urgency, inspiration and creativity\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as approachable demeanor\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nProficiency in World Courier systems preferred\nWhat Cencora offers\nBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
