Apply today!\nJob Details\nThis is an onsite Pharmacy Manager position for Reading Hospital Broadcasting Pharmacy, located at 1220 Broadcasting Rd, Wyomissing, PA. This is a full-time position and the schedule consists of 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends.\nCencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) manages and staffs outpatient and retail pharmacy services in partnership with Reading Hospital. This role will support the continued growth of community-based pharmacy services for patients, employees, and providers in the Reading area.\nResponsibilities:\nManages full-performance cycle (hiring, evaluations, coaching/development, etc) of identified pharmacy team members\nMaintains compliance with all applicable Board of Pharmacy Standards.\nMaintains all pharmacy operations, including policies and procedures.\nResponsible for the procurement and dispensing of outpatient medications; verifies prescribed medications according to professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal legal requirements.\nConsults with patients regarding medications or supplies prescribed, including dosage, frequency, specialized requirements, and possible drug interactions.\nWorks closely with patient to answer all questions and/or concerns regarding their prescriptions.\nReviews and evaluates patient's plan of care for obvious conflicts.\nMaintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and record keeping.\nMakes recommendations to pharmacy program manager regarding any changes to operating procedures to facilitate smooth customer service operations.\nPerforms prescription verification, order entry and verification of prescriptions, providing technical guidance to staff pharmacist(s) and pharmacy technicians.\nResponds to customer inquiries, requests, and issues when situations get escalated to a higher level of authority.\nProvides consulting on pharmaceutical matters to various levels of personnel regarding pharmacy operations.\nSupervises activities relative to customer files and contacts, ensuring that they are updated as needed to comply with current licensing.\nPerforms other tasks as assigned\nEducation:\nNormally requires two (2) to four (4) years of directly related and progressively responsible pharmacy experience; a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
