Apply today!\nJob Details\nPorter\nLocation: Alliance Healthcare\nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm to 12:00am\nHours: 30 hours per week\nPay Rate: £12.96 per hour\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately sorting and distributing orders within the transport department, ensuring goods are allocated to the correct delivery routes and areas.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely transfer loads to the despatch bay.\n\nAccurately sort and distribute customer orders.\n\nCorrectly distribute and store trays and bins.\n\nFollow all checking-off procedures.\n\nMaintain standards in line with Health & Safety policies.\n\nIdentify and report damages in accordance with company procedures.\n\nWork productively to meet operational targets.\n\nAdhere to site security procedures.\n\nMaintain a high standard of housekeeping within the work area.\n\nProvide holiday cover for other Porters on Saturday mornings when required.\n\n.\nSkills, Knowledge and Experience\nEssential\nHigh level of visual accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nGood verbal communication skills.\n\nBasic written communication skills.\n\nBasic numeracy and literacy skills.\n\nCustomer-focused approach.\n\nDesirable\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.\n\nManual Handling Requirements\nPlease note that manual handling activities, including lifting, carrying, and bending, are an essential part of this role.\nAlliance Healthcare is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
