Job Details

The role of the Project Supervisor is to plan, take part of, execute, and finalize projects and special transports with a focus on projects connected to our largest clients and clients with more complex transports.

The Project Supervisor does actively take part of activities as well as coordinates tasks both internally and externally to achieve the specific objectives, oversees the project to ensure the the objectives are met, the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and that the different interests involved (external or internal) are satisfied

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE S

1.Planning and realization of any strategic projects, commercial and public tenders together with local Management

2.Planning and realization of specific local projects outlined by Management.

3.Support BD Manager with related task such as support during customer meetings and other business development related tasks.

4.Share knowledge and identify possible business cases with specific chosen clients.

5.Develop, planning and realization of OPS/CS related projects

6.Implementation of local and global client projects:

a.Motivate and incurrage OPS/CS to make use of implemented initiatives and targets

b.Report outcome of initiatives and targets to management

The holder of the position must independently execute the following tasks:

7.Direct and administrate project development from beginning to end, such as but not limited to:

Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support customers goals in collaboration with management

Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and work groups in a timely and clear fashion

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel

Identify and resolve issues within the project.

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise collegues and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the customer

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Logistic, International Trade or similar.

Postgraduate degree in Project Management

Advanced level of English

Core Skills: Customer focus leadership, Decision making, GXP & Customs Expertise, Collaboration, Influencing & leading teams, Integration & Partnerships with clients & Stakeholders, Achievement orientation

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of transport logistics business, especially for:

Clinical trial supplies, Commercial drugs, Live animals, Laboratory samples, CGT,

DtP, Dangerous goods

Documentation requirement

Customs Regulations

Local legislation

Financial knowledge and profitability mind-set (e.g. KPI measurement, Budgeting & Forecasting).

System knowledge in TMS.
