Apply today!\nJob Details\nSoftware Engineer 3\nRemote - Poland Optional office base in Lublin\nWe’re looking for a Software Engineer 3 to join our engineering team in Poland and help build secure, high-quality software for the Pharmaceutical Trial Master File (TMF) industry.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, shaping engineering standards, and helping a new team establish strong ways of working from the outset.\nYou’ll work on innovative software in a specialist pharmaceutical domain, while championing the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude in a regulated environment.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nFixing most bugs and issues across both familiar and unfamiliar codebases.\nArchitecting and building incremental additions independently, and contributing to larger solutions with guidance from an architect.\nDiagnosing and resolving complex coding issues, including race conditions, cross-threading, and intermittent data problems.\nTaking accountability for quality delivery, software maintenance, and the performance and scalability of the code you produce.\nChampioning best practice in AI-augmented development and helping shape how AI-assisted engineering tools are used across the team.\nWorking with business stakeholders to design solutions that deliver value in the Pharmaceutical TMF space.\nAdopting a security-first approach and producing secure, maintainable software. [2]\nSupporting third-line investigations and partnering closely with the Lead Software Engineer to help shape the new Poland engineering team.\n.\nWhat we’re looking for\n5+ years of software development experience.\nStrong experience with Microsoft .NET / C# and Visual Studio.\nExperience with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or MySQL.\nStrong knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, unit testing, and REST web services.\nExperience with React, Angular, or other modern UI frameworks.\nExposure to Azure or other cloud PaaS services, containerisation, and distributed scalable solutions.\nExperience evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development tools in a security-conscious, regulated engineering environment.\nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences.\nWhy join us\nRemote role based in Poland.\nLublin office available if you’d like to work from there - but it’s not a requirement.\nA chance to join a new engineering team and play a key role in shaping how it works.\nOpportunity to work in a specialist pharmaceutical technology space with meaningful technical challenges.\nPreferred knowledge of GCP and/or TMF is helpful, but not essential.\nIf you’re an experienced software engineer who enjoys building robust solutions, improving engineering practice, and working with modern tools in a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.\nWhat Cencora offers\nBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
