Apply today!\nJob Details\nWarehouse Operative (1 Year FTC)\nLocation: Letchworth\nWork Pattern: Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 09:30-17:00, with a 30-minute unpaid break. 39 hours per week.\nSummary of Role\nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team in Letchworth. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of stock while maintaining high standards of warehouse safety and organisation. The successful candidate will be comfortable with manual stock handling and committed to delivering accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nReceive, check and accurately book in deliveries.\nPick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.\nLoad and unload stock safely and efficiently.\nCarry out stock checks and support inventory control activities.\nMaintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.\nEnsure products are stored correctly and warehouse locations are organised.\nFollow all site health and safety procedures.\nSupport general warehouse housekeeping and operational requirements.\n.\nSkills and Knowledge\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood understanding of warehouse procedures and stock control.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nGood organisational and time management skills.\nBasic literacy and numeracy skills.\nAwareness of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.\nExperience and Qualifications\nPrevious warehouse experience is preferred.\nExperience with picking, packing and stock handling activities.\nAbility to work in a physically active role involving manual handling.\nGood communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.\nDesirable\nExperience using warehouse management systems.\nPrevious experience working in a distribution or logistics environment.\nMHE experience would be advantageous, although not essential.\nBenefits\nCompetitive pay of £13.33 per hour.\nMonday to Friday working pattern.\nOpportunity to join a supportive and established team.\nTraining and development opportunities.\nStable, long-term employment with a growing business.\nWhat Cencora offers\nBenefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
