Warehouse Operative

Location: Exeter

Work Pattern: Sunday 08:00 - 13:00 (5 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £12.96 per hour

Summary of Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently

• Sorting, organising and storing stock within the warehouse

• Picking and packing orders accurately to meet operational requirements

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies

• Following health and safety procedures at all times

• Supporting colleagues to ensure daily warehouse targets are achieved

• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

Skills and Knowledge

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliable with a strong work ethic

• Good organisational skills

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Comfortable working in a physically active role

Desirable

• Experience using warehouse equipment

• Previous stock handling or order picking experience

• Understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
