There is no option for remote or hybrid work.\nThis role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally.\nThe primary role of the Warehouse Supervisor is the hiring, termination,directionand performance of associates. The Warehouse Supervisor also oversees functional areas of the warehouse such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns and management of the cage/vault as well as overseeing the verification and record keeping of outgoing shipments of controlled substances to customers. The warehouse may have different degrees ofradio-frequency(RF) devices to be used for these tasks. The warehouse supervisor is also responsibleto ensurethat all safety guidelines are followed.\nDirects the workflow, motivates,trainsandmonitorsthe performance of warehouse associates.\n\nMonitors work processes andmakessuggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity,efficiencyand accuracy for improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed.\n\nSupports compliance with allappropriate policies, procedures, safetyrulesand DEA regulations.\n\nCoachesemployees to support their development in the role.\n\nDepending on the assigned area, responsible for:\nSupervises the receipt of merchandise, ensuring that only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted by the receiving clerks; ensures that daily logs aremaintainedwithaccurateinformationrelativeto products received.\n\nOversees the department staff in counting,weighingandidentifyingitems being shipped; checks materials against invoices, bills of lading, customerordersand similar documents.\n\nOversees the department staff in filling orders, double-checking andshipping controlledsubstances with theassistanceof cage/vault clerks or order fillers.\n\nMaintains all records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity,sourceand destination of materials shipped.\n\nOversees the manifests of routes and departures to ensure customers receive their merchandisein a timely manner.\n\nMay interact with customers in resolving delivery, or order filling issues.\n\nEnsures the maintenance of records documenting order-fillingprocesssuch as quantity, size,strengthand NDC numbers.\n\nOversees the quality of the packing, protecting breakable items to ensure merchandise received by customers arrives in a satisfactory manner.\n\nEnsures the maintenance of highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances into the cage/vault area.\n\nResponsible for associates in their area of responsibility; tracks attendance, monitors performance and manages overtime.\n\nPerforms related duties as assigned.\n\nEducation:\nRequires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computersciencesor similar vocationsgenerally obtainedthrough completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.\nWork Experience:\nNormally requires a minimum of two (2)yearsdirectly relatedand progressively responsible experience.\nSkills and Knowledge:\nAbility to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing.\n\nGood decision-making skills.\n\nMustpossessbasic mathematical skills.\n\nGood analytical skills.\n\nGood leadership/coaching skills.\n\nGood interpersonal skills.\n\nWorking knowledge of warehouse operations\n\nStrong organizational skills; attention to detail.\n\nKnowledge of computers tooperativeeffectively with Outlook, PowerPoint,Wordand Excel.\n\nAbility toestablishand maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates; foster teamwork.\n\nMay requireproficiencytooperatea reach truck.\n\nMust be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed, to meet productivity goals and provide emergency service to customers.\n\nMust be willing toparticipatein physical inventory if scheduled.\n\nWhat Cencora offers\nWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
