These will align with Cengage’s strategic vision and meet evolving customer needs.\nYou will:\nLead the team’s competitive intelligence gathering and content evaluation activities, collaborating with key partners to interpret findings into strategic recommendations and actionable insights.\nDrive content ideation with authors, subject-matter experts, and industry partners on select projects-grounded in market insights, emerging trends, currency needs, and in alignment with Editorial Manager priorities.\nDevelop and maintain strategic documentation, content tracking, and an author talent database that support strong program execution.\nBuild and update competitive benchmarks to inform editorial strategy and decision-making.\nServe as key contact for customer-reported content-related blocking issues, partnering cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective resolution.\nSkills you will need here:\nDemonstrable higher-order critical thinking and analytical abilities\nStrong project-management and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality results\nExcellent organizational skills that support operational excellence\nProven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\nExperience working cross-functionally to advance shared goals\nIntellectually curious, adaptable, with an attitude of embracing challenges and improvement\nBA or BS Degree\nProficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, CRM and applied AI tools a plus.\nPreferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, showing a strong progression in scope, ownership, and responsibility\nCengage is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
