The Manager, Corporate FP&A contributes to financial performance by supporting corporate reporting and forecasting.\nWhat you will do here:\nAd hoc analyses based on corporate initiatives that require in depth understanding of spend, investments, and transformations across the whole organization\nBuilds and maintains models to support long-term decisions by understanding profit and loss impacts\nDevelops financial projections for planning and investment decisions including proforma M&A activity\nAssists in developing market and competitor intelligence and analyzing business opportunities\nAssists in crafting budgeting and forecasting decks for executive discussions\nCollaborates with FP&A team members and business partners to lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue and expense driver analysis\nIdentifies efficiency opportunities based on business unit economics\nProactively identifies key insights in performance trends and provides analysis\nStreamlines planning and reporting processes for continuous improvement including AI-enabled tools and procedures\nSupports external investor presentations and data requirements for reporting\nSkills you will need here:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field\nMinimum of 2-4 years’ experience in FP&A, private equity, or a similar role\nKnowledge of financial statements - Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow\nExcellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint\nExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple activities\nAptitude for utilizing AI and partnering in operational transformations\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nOutstanding analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills\nCuriosity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a willingness to collaborate\nSelf-starter who takes initiative; confident under pressure and meets deadlines\nCengage is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.\nIn this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program.
