You will:\nLead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale SAP programs, including SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformation initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain the coordinated program plan, achievements, critical path, dependencies, resource requirements, and detailed delivery schedules.\nCollaborate with the Project Board, executive sponsors, business leaders, technology teams, and implementation partners to develop and sustain the overall delivery plan.\nManage program financials, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, vendor spend, and financial reporting.\nManage several SAP functional and technical workstreams simultaneously while actively overseeing cross-functional dependencies.\nManage external vendors and systems integrators, including deliverables, achievements, performance, dependencies, and customer concerns.\nDrive day-to-day program execution, proactively identifying delivery risks and removing barriers to progress.\nProvide clear and concise reporting on program health, achievements, financials, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions required.\nApply Smartsheet as the primary program management tool, with Jira supporting Agile delivery and workstream execution.\nAbilities you will require here:\nTo successfully implement and manage our world-class projects, you will need:\nMore than 10 years of increasingly responsible project and program management experience, including large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.\nEstablished experience coordinating complex programs that include several business, functional, and technical workstreams.\nSAP implementation or transformation experience strongly preferred, with SAP S/4HANA experience highly desirable.\nStrong technical understanding with the ability to effectively engage architecture, integration, data, infrastructure, security, and application teams.\nProven hands-on experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and delivery teams.\nExperience managing SAP implementation partners, systems integrators, external vendors, and internal technical teams.\nExtensive experience in financial oversight, involving budget planning, projections, and managing vendor payments.\nStrong executive communication, collaborator management, facilitation, and escalation-management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse business, product, and technology organizations.\nExperience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies.\nProficiency with Smartsheet and Jira.\nPreferred qualifications include:\nProven track record of leading complex enterprise infrastructure implementations and migrations.\nFamiliarity with IT Service Management (ITSM), change management, and operational transition.\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or similar certification.\nJoin us and be a part of our mission to deliver flawless and innovative learning solutions!\nCengage is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.\nIn this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program.
