This role coordinates engineering, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, identity, endpoint, application, service management, business, and vendor teams.\nThe initial portfolio will include a major modernized endpoint migration requiring strong planning, dependency management, deployment coordination, and operational readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead infrastructure projects across planning, design, implementation, migration, stabilization, and closure.\nDevelop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, critical paths, resources, and dependencies.\nManage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.\nCoordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendors to drive delivery and resolve blockers.\nLead infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives across endpoint, cloud, networking, identity, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.\nManage endpoint migration activities including pilots, rollout waves, application readiness, security dependencies, user readiness, and support transition.\nEstablish governance, project cadence, escalation paths, and go/no-go criteria.\nMaintain concise executive reporting, Red/Amber/Green (RAG) status, and delivery dashboards.\nEnsure operational readiness through support models, documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to steady-state operations.\nSkills you will need here:\n8+ years of technology program management experience with significant infrastructure delivery experience.\nProven experience leading complex enterprise infrastructure implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure dependencies across networking, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, applications, and endpoint technologies.\nStrong project planning, RAID management, dependency management, governance, and executive communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multiple technical workstreams and drive accountability without direct authority.\nExperience managing vendors, systems integrators, or managed service providers.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading endpoint modernization or device migration initiatives.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, SCCM/Configuration Manager, or comparable technologies.\nExperience with IT Service Management (ITSM), change management, and operational transition.\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or similar certification.\nExperience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies\nProficiency with Smartsheet and Jira.\nCengage is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.\nIn this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary incentive bonus program.
