Title:\nCredit AnalystContract Type:\nTime Type:\nJob Description:\nThe Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk across a global portfolio of counterparties.\nThe role involves analysing quantitative and qualitative information, providing recommendations on credit limits, ratings and other credit terms, and supporting the negotiation of credit arrangements with external counterparties.\nA strong understanding of metals markets, including base and precious metals, and the associated trading and credit risks is essential.\nMain Responsibilities\nConduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative credit assessments of counterparties, with a particular focus on the metals and mining sectors.\nReview and respond to day-to-day trade requests from commercial teams, including an increasing number of structured and non-standard transactions.\nEvaluate and support the structuring of complex, multi-commodity and long-term transactions.\nSupport the negotiation and administration of credit arrangements, master trading agreements and other transaction-related documentation.\nExercise delegated authority to recommend and approve credit limits, ratings and other credit terms.\nProactively monitor and manage a portfolio of counterparties, primarily within the EMEA region, assessing current and potential future exposures, positions, credit developments and emerging risks.\nEnsure compliance with Group credit policies and procedures.\nDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with counterparties, financial institutions and internal stakeholders.\nParticipate in credit-related system enhancements and other initiatives to strengthen the company's credit risk infrastructure and capabilities.\nProfile\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in credit risk, ideally within commodity trading, banking or a related financial environment.\nStrong knowledge of metals markets and proven experience assessing counterparties operating in base metals, precious metals, mining or metals trading.\nSolid understanding of physical commodity trading, related credit exposures and the risks associated with structured and long-term transactions.\nStrong financial analysis, credit writing and risk assessment skills, with the ability to develop independent, well-supported recommendations.\nWorking knowledge of master agreements commonly used in commodity markets, including ISDA and related credit support documentation (CSA).\nStrong analytical skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to work effectively with
