Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs).\nStrong application development and data engineering experience, with a demonstrated understanding of provider data and provider directory processes, particularly within government health insurance programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace\nMonitor and support critical production processes, including provider directory feeds, credentialing feeds, provider data quality processes, Medicaid provider registration, and other downstream provider data transmissions.\nDevelops efficient code in various development languages for enhancements and bug fixes\nDesigns, and develops software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices\nIdentify and implement process improvements focused on performance, scalability, automation, data quality, and repeatability.\nTroubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to improve process reliability and reduce operational risk.\nCreates, executes, and evaluates unit/integration tests\nIdentifies, assess, and formulates architectural impacts and solutions from business requirements\nAnalyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, including the ability to estimate work needed\nCreates conceptual and detailed technical design documents\nProvides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plans\nAdheres to security management practices and promotes established security standards\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with all policies and standards\nEducation/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 - 4 years of related experience.\nOr equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.\nDesired Technical Skills:\nStrong knowledge of SQL, ETL/SSIS, Power BI, SSRS\nIntermediate knowledge of Snowflake\nExperience with Application Development; Software Development\nKnowledge of Programming Concepts; Software Design\nPay Range: $75,300.00 - $135,400.00 per yearAt Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives - and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
