Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT.\nDevelop agentic workflows, AI-assisted applications, tool integrations, retrieval patterns, and deterministic automation for security use cases.\nDefine agent boundaries, identity, permissions, approved tools, human approval points, auditability, rollback, and emergency-stop behavior.\nBuild reusable services and components using Python, APIs, Git-based CI/CD, containers, and enterprise automation platforms.\nApply secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling, code and dependency scanning, testing, peer review, and production-readiness validation.\nImplement telemetry for agent decisions, tool calls, failures, quality, security events, and operational health.\nPartner with security engineering, architecture, governance, platform, and operations teams to move validated prototypes into supported capabilities.\nDocument architecture, controls, runbooks, test evidence, ownership, and support models.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nComplies with all policies and standards.\nEducation/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 - 6 years of related experience.\nOr equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.\nTechnical Skills:\nSenior-level experience building production software, security automation, platform engineering, or AI-enabled systems. \nDirect experience with agentic AI is strongly preferred, but demonstrated depth in software engineering plus applied AI/LLM development may substitute.\nExperience with AWS, Bedrocks, and Databrisks preferred.\nSoft Skills:\nIntermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty.\nIntermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nIntermediate - Ability to work independently.\nIntermediate - Demonstrated analytical skills.\nIntermediate - Demonstrated project management skills.\nIntermediate - Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.\nIntermediate - Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills.\nPay Range: $87,000.00 - $161,300.00 per yearAt Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives - and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
