Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.\nCreate, optimize, and re-engineer Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) stored procedures, functions, views, and tables that stage and transform claim, authorization, member, and provider data for correspondence.\nOwn, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application, which stages data in SQL Server, uses C# to produce Word documents, and uses a third-party component within SSIS to convert Word documents to PDF.\nDevelop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.\nSchedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.· Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; research and resolve data, performance, and letter-generation issues.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including designs, data flows, and support procedures.\nClearly articulate issues to business and technical stakeholders and design/model solutions.\nContribute as needed to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) feeds, and report development.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with all policies and standards\nEducation/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 - 6 years of related experience.\nOr equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.\nTechnical Skills:\nOne or more of the following skills are desired.\nRequires 4 - 6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning, etc.)\nRequires 3+ years of C# development\nRequires 3+ years of SSIS development\nExperience with EDI preferred\nExperience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred\n License/Certification:\nScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred\nPay Range: $87,000.00 - $161,300.00 per yearAt Centene, we connect people to the care they need to live healthier lives - and the work you do here makes that impact real every day.
