The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement support for complex federal financial management activities.\nThe successful candidate will analyze large financial datasets, support the preparation and validation of federal financial reports and statements, identify and resolve discrepancies, document financial processes, and provide actionable insights to client stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing guidance to junior team members.\nRequirements\nPerform complex financial analysis, reconciliation, and validation of large financial datasets.\nSupport the preparation, review, and validation of financial reports and federal financial statements.\nAnalyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, discrepancies, and potential financial or operational risks.\nResearch and resolve financial data and accounting discrepancies across systems and data sources.\nDevelop and maintain financial models, reports, dashboards, and management analyses.\nDocument and improve financial and business processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), desk guides, and process flowcharts.\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting accuracy, data quality, and process efficiency.\nSupport client meetings, briefings, data calls, and responses to financial management inquiries.\nReview analytical work products and provide guidance to junior analysts.\nCollaborate effectively with financial, technical, program, and other cross-functional teams.\nApply federal financial management and accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nDemonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex formulas, data analysis, and macros.\nPrepare clear, concise financial analyses, reports, presentations, and technical documentation\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.\n8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial management, or a related field.\nExperience supporting federal government financial management, accounting, or financial reporting strongly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliation, internal controls, and accounting operations.\nDemonstrated experience analyzing and validating large and complex financial datasets.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, technical writing, and client communication skills.\nAbility to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required government suitability or security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with federal financial systems, ERP platforms, or financial reporting tools.\nExperience supporting financial statement preparation, audit readiness, internal controls, or financial data reconciliation.\nFamiliarity with federal financial management requirements and
